CyArk is thrilled to announce the receipt of a cash grant from IBM. The grant will go towards supporting the integration of CyArk’s educational content into IBM’s Teachers TryScience platform. This grant is particularly exciting given the natural overlap in CyArk’s mission and reach and IBM’s desire to support science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.

Teachers TryScience is a web site for teachers. This site provides free and engaging lessons, along with teaching strategies and resources, which are designed to spark students’ interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). What’s more, the site features collaboration tools to enable teachers to discuss and share effective instructional practices.

By leveraging CyArk’s existing educational reach and IBM’s global footprint, CyArk and Teachers TryScience will reach a collectively larger audience, resulting in a greater collective impact on STEM education.

CyArk will use the cash grant towards contributing existing STEM lesson plans to Teachers TryScience as well as developing new materials to be leveraged by Teachers TryScience. Stay tuned for an update of when the lesson plans are live!
