On January 2nd, 2009 the new Ars Electronica Center opened its doors for the first time. The "Museum of the Future" boasts 3,000 m2 of space for exhibits, including their new Deep Space exhibit. Deep Space enables visitors to travel through space and time and immerse themselves in 3D stereo universes. In late 2008, CyArk began discussions with Ars Electronica about a possible partnership to display point cloud data from several of CyArk's projects. The eight 1080p HD-and Active Stereo-capable Barco Galaxy NH12 projectors in the Deep Space exhibit offered a unique way for the public to interact with digital preservation data.

Through a new partnership with the center, nine CyArk projects will be showcased in the exhibit. This marks the first walkable extension of CyArk's archive.

The Ars Electronica Center is located in Linz, Austria. Linz is also the 2009 European Capital of Culture.
