International Community Helps Launch CyArk 500 Challenge

Worldwide publications take note of the urgent need for digital heritage preservation

On October 21st at the Tower of London, CyArk formally launched the CyArk 500 Challenge. Joined by over 200 foreign ambassadors, government officials, cultural representatives, corporate executives and others from 35 countries, CyArk announced its plan for digitally preserving 500 sites over the next 5 years.

The attendees were treated to a special message by James Cameron, a celebration of selected sites from CyArk's archive of over 100 completed projects, and a demonstration of the technologies CyArk will use to complete the challenge.
