Looking for ways to support CyArk, but haven’t yet mastered the art of 3D laser scanning heritage sites? Not to worry, now you can support digital heritage preservation through online shopping. CyArk has set up a profile through AmazonSmile, a branch of Amazon.com. When you shop through this website, Amazon donates a portion of your purchase to charity.

It’s an easy way to meaningfully support CyArk’s work to digitally preserve heritage around the world. The next time you need to buy something from Amazon, simply go to smile.amazon.com instead and type in CyArk as the charity you want to support. At checkout, Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase to CyArk. AmazonSmile has all the same products at the same prices as Amazon, but now your purchases will be supporting the world’s precious and at risk heritage sites. Bookmark AmazonSmile and use this page anytime you need to make an online purchase.

In 2014 CyArk has lots of exciting projects underway that need your help. Our fundraising efforts are currently focused on supporting the digital preservation of the inspiring and unique sites that have been submitted thus far for the CyArk 500 Challenge, many of which are gravely at risk and need to be rapidly documented in 3D. Donate through AmazonSmile and take part in our unprecedented undertaking to save the world’s heritage by digitally preserving 500 sites in five years’ time. Have you been meaning to purchase some new diamond jewelry? Maybe you’re in the market for an offshore generator set, a hand-knotted Persian Iran Kerman rug, or an antique Genroku Era/Edo Period Nabeshima porcelain platter? Buy them on AmazonSmile and support CyArk! And, really, don’t hold off on buying that Lalique Poissons Fish Fountain—you’re doing it for heritage! :)

How to support CyArk on AmazonSmile:
1) Go to smile.amazon.com
2) It will ask you to choose a charity to support; there is a box where you can type in the name of your own charitable organization, type in CyArk and click "Search"
3) CyArk will come up as the only result; click "Select"

You're all set!
