Heritage on the Moon, developed in partnership between World Monuments Fund and CyArk, explores humanity’s enduring legacy on the lunar surface. Through virtual reconstructions of key landing sites—from Apollo 11 and Luna 17 to more recent international missions—the experience highlights how exploration has created a new category of cultural heritage beyond Earth. As renewed activity on the Moon accelerates, Heritage on the Moon invites reflection on how international cooperation and preservation can guide the protection of these fragile traces of human achievement for generations to come.
