Video Storyteller/Editor Internship

CyArk is looking for a creative video editor, with superior technique and strong storytelling ability to create visually engaging content to engage CyArk’s audience and share more about our domestic and international expeditions and impact of our work. The Editor position is responsible for editing a wide variety of video content including drone footage, interviews and 3D animations to run across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in creating video content for brands and/or the equivalent educational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and create original video content
  • Brainstorm and contribute video ideas
  • Lead video post-production process (editing, sound, color, graphics)
  • Collaborate creatively with the Programs and Development team to further develop the look and feel of CyArk’s messaging
  • Export, compress and reformat video files
  • Manage and organize digital assets from multiple sources
  • Craft content for CyArks social media channels

    Skills and Other Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of narrative structure and excellent storytelling abilities
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro
  • Experience in motion graphics and After Effects, preferred
  • Creative writing or script development skills
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Interest in history and cultural heritage
