CyArk and the Bureau of Land Management Monticello Field Office have collaborated with three tribal nations: the Pueblo of Zuni, the Pueblo of Acoma, and the Hopi Tribe to digitally document three ancestral sites and create freely available immersive virtual experiences. Each of the Tapestry experiences highlights descendant communities' unique connections to the Bears Ears landscape and how people can respectfully engage with cultural heritage at the Monument. The virtual experiences utilize 3D documentation collected by CyArk of the ancestral sites located along the 80-mile Comb Ridge landform.
